MOLDING MATERIAL, SHEET,
FIBER REINFORCED
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial
Item Description.
Abstract. This commercial item description establishes requirements for a fiber
reinforced sheet molding material used to mold structural hardware.
Salient characteristics. The uncured material shall be homogeneous and free of
foreign material that would adversely affect its intended purpose. It shall be capable of
storage for a minimum of six months in its original unopened container at -18º Celsius
(C) or less and still satisfy all requirements of table I when cured.
